Petitioner was appointed as Part-Time Water Carrier on 10.06.2008 at GMS Kotadhar, District Kullu. His services were converted as Water Carrier-cum-Peon on daily wage basis under office order dated 21.01.2017 at the same place of posting. Petitioner was regularized on 14.10.2022 as a Class-IV employee and posted at GHS Meha, District Kullu. Petitioner’s grievance is that he, a Class-IV employee, is suffering from 55% locomotor disability and serving at a

station far-off from his native place. The case set up in this writ petition is that the petitioner had preferred a representation to respondents No.2 and 3 on 11.01.2025 (Annexure P-5), seeking transfer, however, the said representation has not been decided by the respondents till date.

Taking into consideration the pleaded facts, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
