APHC010081282018 IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH AT AMARAVATI (Special Original Jurisdiction) [3396] TUESDAY, THE TWENTY FIFTH DAY OF MARCH TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY FIVE PRESENT THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION Nos. 3735, 3899 and 29364 of 2018 COMMON ORDER: These Writ Petitions have been filed by the respective Petitioners seeking a direction to the Respondents to extend the benefit of Para No.4 of G.O.Ms.No.46, dated 30.04.2015 entitling them to the pay fixation in the Revised Pay Scale of 2015 and for the benefit of fitment on par with the other State Government employees. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education would submit that the Petitioners were given the benefit of Revised Pay Scales-2015 on par with the other State Government employees. For ready reference, relevant para of the written instructions submitted by the Joint Director, A.P.Model Schools, Amaravati, dated 12.03.2025 is extracted hereunder: “……The 2nd Respondent has forwarded the proposal to the Government vide Letter Rc.No.250/A1/APMS/2014, dated 7-8-2015 seeking necessary instructions to implement the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 to the Principals, Post Graduate Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers working in the Districts. Accordingly, the Government have accepted the proposal and accorded permission to implement the Revised Pay Scales, 2015 to the Principals, Post Graduate teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers working in Model Schools of Andhra Pradesh under A.P.Secondary Education Society vide G.O.Ms.No.126 SE (Prog.I) dated 30-12-2016 on the lines of 2 the other State Government Employees and the fixation of pay shall be allowed with monetary benefit from 01-04-2015. Based on the Government orders, the Commissioner of School Education and Ex-Officio Project Director, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati has implemented Revised Pay Scales-2015 w.e.f., 01-04-2015 to the teaching staff of the Model Schools. Ms.M.S.V.S.Sudha Rani, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the petitions may be disposed of directing the Respondents to consider their representation dated 22.12.2017. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the Government to consider the representation dated 22.12.2017 of the Petitioners relating to their claim of fitment vide Para No.4 of G.O.Ms.No.46 dated 30.04.2015 and take appropriate decision according to governing Rules and Law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
