The petitioner is aggrieved of the dismissal of the revision petition filed by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, for non-prosecution. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the revision petition was filed, on no date of hearing the petitioner was absent. However, on one fine day, the revision petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. The learned counsel for the petitioner therefore, submits that the matter may be - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34019 WP No. 6169 of 2024 restored while directing the Deputy Commissioner to consider the matter on merits. 5. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is accepted. 6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of while restoring RP No.346/2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent - Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner to issue notice to the respondents therein, and thereafter, proceed to hear the matter on merits. 7.
