ORAL ORDER
Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Notice to respondent No.4 is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. 3. It is the contention of the petitioner that his father late Sri.Kalasiddu was in occupation of 22 guntas of land Sy.No.86 of Madigahalli Village, Bannur Hobli, T.Narasipura Taluk and on that strength the name of the petitioner was sought to be entered in the revenue records. The Assistant Commissioner dismissed the appeal by order dated 20.07.2020 at Annexure-B stating that on verification of the records it was found that originally the kathedar was Patel Honnagantegowda S/o Honnegowda and subsequent revenue entries have been made in favour of the legal heirs of late Sri.Honnagantegowda. The index of land and the revenue records did not reveal that the land was talawar inam land. Accordingly, the appeal was dismissed.
The revision petition filed before the Special Deputy Commissioner under Section 136(3) of the Act was also dismissed by order dated 28.06.2024. 4. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that even otherwise, if it is the claim of the petitioner that the land is a talawar inam land, no information is placed before the revenue authorities to show that an application was filed by the petitioner or his father seeking occupancy rights on the

strength that they were the occupants of the lands in question. No orders have been passed by the competent authority under the provisions of the Mysore (Personal and Miscellaneous) Inams Abolition Act, 1954. 5. There is substance in the submission of the Learned Additional Government Advocate, the Assistant Commissioner as well as the Special Deputy Commissioner have verified from the records and found the name of Patel Honnagante Gowda is shown as the original kathedar and subsequently, mutation entries have been carried out in the revenue records mutating the name of legal heirs of late Sri. Honnegante Gowda. No information is placed by the petitioner either before the revenue authority or before this Court to show that any orders are passed by competent authority under the provisions of the Mysore (Personal and Miscellaneous) Inams. Abolition Act, 1954,
6. In that view of the matter, the revenue authorities have rightly rejected the appeal and the revision petition filed by the petitioner who seeks entry of his name in the revenue
