The petitioner is aggrieved of withholding of the CPF amount of Rs 2,27,360/- along with salary due and payable to him w.e.f. January to April 2022, during which period the petitioner was working on deputation in the office of Tehsildar Uri. It is further pleaded that the petitioner having discharged the duties assigned to him cannot be deprived of his due remuneration without any just cause or reason. Therefore, the petitioner through medium of the instant petition, is seeking directions upon the respondents for release of salary in his favour for the period of four months w.e.f. January to April 2022 for which period he was posted in Tehsil Officer Uri. Furthermore, the petitioner also prayed for a direction upon the respondents to release and disburse the CPF amounting to Rs. 2,27,360/- which has been withheld without any justification. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the present Writ petition is treated as representation on behalf of the petitioner and the respondents are directed to consider and redress the grievance projected by him in the present petition. In view of the above, the present Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat this Writ petition as representation and redress the grievance(s) of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon under rules
governing the field expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order along with copy of this petition is served upon the respondents. It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Disposed of along with connected CM.
