The matter is settled before the Karnataka Mediation Centre and the report is also received from the mediation. 4. Memorandum of settlement filed under Section 89 of CPC read with Rules 24 and 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005 submitted by the Mediation Centre along with report reveals that the respondent has agreed to pay Rs.5,00,000/- and he has issued a cheque bearing No.058250 dated 20.07.2025 drawn on Canara Bank, BWSSB Branch, Bengaluru for an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- will be handed over to the appellant on 02.07.2025 and another cheque bearing No.058251 dated 03.11.2025 drawn on Canara Bank, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44961 CRL.A No. 719 of 2019 BWSSB Branch, Bengaluru for an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- will be handed over to the appellant subject to realization of the aforesaid cheque. 5. The contents of the memorandum of settlement are read over and explained to the complainant/appellant. He has accepted the terms and conditions of memorandum of settlement. In view of submission of the complainant and memorandum of settlement, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER The appeal is disposed of in terms and conditions mentioned in the memorandum of settlement filed under Section 89 of CPC read with Rules 24 and 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005.
