This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for regular bail by the petitioner Sri Manoranjan Das in respect of Gogamukh P.S. Case No.10/2025 under Section 61(2)/326(f)/326(g)/296/351(2)/85 of the BNS, 2023. 3. The petitioner married the daughter of the informant about five years prior to lodging of the FIR. They have a two year son also. There were some disputes between the husband and the wife. Therefore, the wife was started residing in the house of her father. On 19.01.2025 at about 9.20 P.M., the petitioner went to the house of his father-in-law where he had quarrel with his wife. It is alleged by the mother-in-law that the present petitioner had burnt some furniture and a scooter of her house. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. On a plain reading of the FIR, it appears that it is a dispute between the husband and the wife. The petitioner has already spent more than 30 days in judicial custody. This Court is of the opinion that the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody for the allegation brought against him. His bail application is allowed. 6. The petitioner Sri Manoranjan Das who was arrested in connection with Gogamukh P.S. Case No.10/2025 under Section 61(2)/326(f)/326(g)/296/351(2)/85 of the BNS, 2023, shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhemaji. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
