The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Arki P.S. Case No. 37/2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 51/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 8(c), 18, 21(c), 22 & 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of Sri Rasikesh Kumar, learned Spl. Judge, N.D.P.S., Khunti. 3. 02.08.2024, the petitioner alongwith co-accused persons were apprehended by Arki Police from a village Hoonth. On search, 4.163 kgs. of brown sugar and Rs. 8,75,000/- cash were recovered from the accused persons. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State submitted that the accused persons were apprehended together and the alleged contraband was recovered from their joint possession. 6. Considering the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
