This is an application under section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby, the petitioner Manoj Sah @ Manoj Saha, who was arrested in connection with Paltanbazar PS Case No.19/2025 under Page No.# 2/2 section 118(2) of BNS for releasing him on bail. 3. The allegation brought against the present petitioner is that on 18.01.2025, when the informant came to open his shop in the evening, he found that a banner was put up in front of his shop for which he found it difficult to open his shop. On that issue he had a quarrel with the petitioner and even they had a scuffle. It is alleged in the FIR that the present petitioner and his two sons had assaulted the informant. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides in the light of the materials available in the record. 5. The petitioner has already spent 32 days in judicial custody. This court is of the opinion that for the aforesaid allegation, the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody for any further period of time. Therefore his bail application is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that the petitioner, namely, Manoj Sah @ Manoj Saha, who is arrested in connection with Paltanbazar PS Case No.19/2025, under section 118(2) of BNS, shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with suitable surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Kamrup (M), Guwahati, Assam. 7. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
