(ORAL) An elecon peon was filed by respondent No.2 Chandandeep Singh before SDM-cum-Elecon Tribunal, Lopoke. Said Chandandeep Singh filed CWP-15009-2025 before this Court seeking direcon to the Competent Authority to decide the elecon peon expediously. A Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.05.2025 directed the Competent Authority to decide the elecon peon expediously preferably within a period of eight weeks. 2. Pursuant to the aforesaid order, the Elecon Tribunal-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate Amritsar-2 passed impugned order dated 09.07.2025 direcng the re-counng of the votes. 3. The aforesaid order has been assailed by the peoner herein, who was respondent No.1 in the main elecon peon, submi5ng that no reasons whatsoever have been assigned by the Elecon Tribunal-cum- Sub Divisional Magistrate Amritsar-2 for direcng the re-counng. Noce of moon to respondent No.2, who is the only aggrieved party, at this stage. 5. Mr. Kshiz Goel, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and filed his power of a:orney, which is taken on record. 6. Learned counsel submits that respondent No.2 has no objecon in case, ma:er is remanded back to Elecon Tribunal-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate Amritsar-2 with a direcon to assign necessary reasons for deciding the elecon peon. To this suggeson, counsel for the peoner has no objecon. 7. Having regard to abovesaid facts and circumstances, the present peon is hereby disposed of by se5ng aside the impugned order dated 09.07.2025 and by direcng the Elecon Tribunal-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate Amritsar-2 to decide the concerned elecon peon as filed by Chandandeep Singh i.e. respondent No.2 herein, expediously and by assigning reasons therein.
