By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of pending statutory appeal preferred by him before the appellate court, namely respondent No.- 2 on 20th July, 2024 under Rule 11 of the U.P. Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in the event a direction is issued for disposal of the statutory appeal in accordance with law, may be in a time bound period. In the circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to decide the pending statutory appeal in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
