CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
"a. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ to set aside the order of termination of admission passed by the 2nd respondent dated 30-9-2025. (Annexure-L) b. To consider the representation dated 18/9/25 given by the petitioner before the 1st respondent (ANNEXURE- K).

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for respondent No.1, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 and perused the material on record.
3. A perusal of the material on record will indicate that the petitioner took admission in respondent Nos. 2 and 3 - University on 26.08.2024 for B-Tech CSE (Hons.) UG Programme. On 25.03.2025, the parents of a girl by name Aadya is said to have filed a complaint against the petitioner, pursuant to which, the petitioner was kept under suspension without conducting any enquiry. It is contented by the petitioner that thereafter, he underwent mental illness and was diagnosed with adjustment disorder with depressive episode and was undergoing treatment and based on the advice of the Carrier Counsellor, the petitioner joined B-Tech course (the School of Designs and Innovation) in respondent No.2 - University on 25.07.2025.

4. On 18.08.2025, the Student Disciplinary Committee issued a show cause notice to the petitioner calling upon him to show cause as to why the admission should not be terminated. The petitioner tendered his reply on 19.08.2025 to the Student Disciplinary Committee, pursuant to which, respondent Nos.2 and 3 passed the impugned order at Annexure-L dated 30.09.2025 terminating the admission of the petitioner, who is before this court by way of the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has various contentions and documents to be submitted and urged before the Student Disciplinary Committee, which has proceeded to pass the impugned order, without providing sufficient or reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and as such, the impugned order may be set aside and the matter be remitted back to the concerned respondent No.3 for reconsideration afresh, in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 fairly submits that the impugned order at Annexure-L dated 30.09.2025 may be treated as a show cause notice, to which, the petitioner

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:45332 WP No. 32079 of 2025 may be directed to submit a reply and appear before respondent No.3 on a date fixed by this Court and respondent No.3 may be
directed to proceed further in accordance with law.
7. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and joint submission made by both sides, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition by treating the impugned order as a show cause notice and by issuing further directions in this regard.
8. For the aforesaid reasons, I pass the following:
ORDER (i) The petition is disposed of. (ii) The impugned order at Annexure - L dated 30.09.2025 is treated as a show cause notice, to which, the petitioner shall submit his reply by appearing before respondent No.3 on 17.11.2025 without awaiting further notice from respondent No.3. (iii) On 17.11.2025, the petitioner shall submit his objections, reply, documents, pleadings, etc. before respondent No.3, who shall provide
