This interlocutory application, under Order 6 Rule 17 of the CPC, is preferred by the applicants for amendment of the cause title of CRP(IO) No. 542/2024. 3. Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the applicants submits that in the cause title of the connected revision petition, the respondent No. 1 may be amended as ‘the State of Assam represented by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue and Disaster Management (Relief and Rehabilitation) Department, Dispur, Guwahati-6’. 4. Mr. Gogoi, learned Government Advocate for the opposite party Nos. 1 and 2 submits that he has no objection in the event of allowing this application. 5. Taking note of the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties, and also considering the facts and circumstances on the record, this interlocutory application stands allowed. 6. Accordingly, it is provided that Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the applicants shall file amended cause title of CRP(IO) No. 542/2024, within a period of one week from today. Page No.# 3/3 7.
