(Oral) By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following main reliefs: “(i) That writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued by directing the respondents to extend the benefit of promotional increment w.e.f. his promotion to the post of HT, along with all consequential benefits such as arrear of pay scale along with interest etc. on the analogy of judgment passed by this Hon’ble Court in CWP No.2500/2021 titled Ranjit Singh & ors. Vs State of H.P & others (a.w connected matters).” 2. Before reply, if any, from the respondents could be received, learned counsel representing the petitioner, on instructions, states that petitioner would be content and satisfied in case he is permitted to make representation to the respondents for redressal of his grievance in the light of judgment passed by Coordinate Bench this - 2 - Court in CWP No. 2500 of 2021 titled Ranjit Singh & Ors. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors., in a time bound manner. 3. While putting in appearance on behalf of respondents, Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, states that he is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and representation, if any, filed by the petitioner shall be considered and decided expeditiously. 4. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the present petition reserving liberty to the petitioner to file representation before the competent authority within a period of two weeks for redressal of his grievances as have been raised in the instant petition, which in turn, shall be decided by the competent authority in terms of Ranjit Singh’s case (supra) expeditiously within a period of four weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereafter.
