HEMALEKHA ORAL ORDER The petitioner has called in question the endorsement dated 12.11.2025 (Annexure-A) issued by respondent No.1 and further, a writ of mandamus to restrain respondent Nos.1 and 2 from permitting the shifting of the CL-9 licence issued in favour of respondent No.3. 2. Sri G.K. Bhat, learned senior counsel for respondent No.3 submits that the Deputy Commissioner has already passed an order on 18.11.2025, permitting the shifting of licence. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be reserved to the petitioner to challenge the said order dated 18.11.2025 before the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50840 WP No. 35205 of 2025 appropriate authority in terms of Section 61 (2) of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 (‘the Act’ for short). 4. The said submission is placed on record. 5. In view of the above, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 18.11.2025 before the Excise Commissioner. If such an appeal is preferred, the Excise Commissioner shall consider and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of its filing. 6.
