2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307 and Section 302 (subsequently added) of the IPC, registered in connection with Ismailpur P.S.Case No. 129 of
2023.
3. The informant Sheela Devi lodged her fardbayan, stating therein that on 03.11.2023, someone caught hold of her from behind and inflicted knife blow on her abdomen. Later on, she saw that it was the petitioner. She had some land disputes with the petitioner. She died during the course of treatment.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.360 of 2025(4) dt.13-08-2025 2/2 merely on the basis of suspicion and due to dirty village politics.
5. It appears that the victim’s husband Manoj Mandal in his fardbayan also implicated three other persons, in addition to the present petitioner. The informant died during course of treatment. Later on, Section 302 of the IPC was added in the FIR. The victim stated in her fardbayan that the petitioner inflicted knife blow at her abdominal region
6. Considering the facts and circumstances and in view of severity of allegation, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner the privilege of the bail, which is hereby rejected.
