In this writ petition, the petitioner has called in question the impugned order dated 27.06.2025, passed by respondent No.1, vide Annexure-C, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Nanjangud to Hootagalli. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25174 WP No. 20217 of 2025 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as an Overseer on 21.04.1998 and deputed to work at the Chamarajanagara Division. On 07.07.2002, he was transferred to the V.V. Mohalla Sub-Division, Mysuru, as an Overseer. Again, on 28.11.2007, the petitioner was transferred to the Central Sub-Division, Mysuru, as an Overseer. Thereafter, on 24.06.2016, the petitioner was promoted to the post of Junior Engineer and on 29/30.07.2021, he was transferred to Nanjangud. Subsequently, by impugned order on 27.06.2025, the petitioner was prematurely transferred from Nanjangud to Hootagalli. Being aggrieved by the same, the present petition has been filed. 3. As per the transfer guidelines, the tenure for Group ‘C’ employees is four years. By the impugned order dated 27.06.2025, the petitioner has been transferred from Nanjangud to Hootagalli. The petitioner has only four weeks remaining to complete his four years tenure. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25174 WP No. 20217 of 2025 Therefore, the impugned order is not contrary to the transfer guidelines.
