1. Heard learned AGP for the applicant-State.
2. By this application, the applicant is seeking condonation of delay of 26 days for filing the appeal.
3. Considering the submissions of learned AGP for the State and reasons mentioned in the application, delay of 26 days for filing the appeal is condoned. The application is allowed and disposed off.

5. In the instant case, the Special Land Acquisition Officer (‘SLAO’) has granted compensation of Rs.26,520/- which is further enhanced by the Reference Court by Rs.93,480/-. The amount being meagre, this Court would not entertain the appeal filed by the State and the appeal is accordingly dismissed.
6. It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals, where the quantum of compensation granted is large.
7. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed off.
