Petitioner is complainant, he made complaint against the sitting Gram Pradhan of the village namely Smt. Asha Devi. Pursuant thereto a show cause notice was issued to the sitting Pradhan by the District Magistrate, Jaunpur on 01.04.2025. 2. Subsequently another letter dated 02.06.2025 was written by the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Jaunpur to the Pradhan of the village as well as the present petitioner to appear in the office of District Panchayat Raj Officer, Jaunpur on 09.06.2025. 3. It is argued that though the petitioner is appeared in the office of the District Panchayat Raj Officer on the said date but till date no final decision has been taken, hence the present writ petition. 4. On the other hand, it is argued by the learned Standing Counsel that the decision will be taken in the matter by the competent authority namely Respondent No. 2, expeditiously. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Jaunpur to take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, unless there is no legal impediment.
