The operative part thereof reads as under:- “4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. T.P.S. Chawla, learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, the representation dated 30.04.2024 (Annexure P-6) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order. Counsel for the respondents has produced copy of the order dated 24.07.2025 purported to have been passed in compliance of the order passed by the Writ Court. A record shows that the order has been complied with only after filing of the present contempt petition when the petitioners had already been constrained to approach this Court. 3. In view of above, the present contempt petition is disposed off with the direction to respondent No.2 to pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- to each of the petitioners as litigation cost. The same shall be recovered from the personal pay of respondent No.2. 4. Ordered accordingly. 5. Since the main case has been decided, pending miscellaneous application, if any, shall also stands disposed off.
