GP FOR CIVIL SUPPLIES (AP) The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “….to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus,declaring the action of the respondents 3 to 5 in not allotting to stocks to the petitioners to distribute the commodities for their Fair Price Shop No.s 58,77 and 46 of Kurnool town, Kurnool District though petitioners authorizations we restored by proceedings vide RDOKNL-WROCS(DC)/6,7, 8/2018 - DIVNLASO(KNL) dated 05-12-2018 as illegal, arbitrary, in gross violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents 3 to 5 to allot stocks to the petitioners to distribute the commodities to the Card holders of fair price shop No.s 58, 77 and 46 of Kurnool town, Kurnool District and pass….” 2. The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners challenging the action of the respondent Nos.3 to 5 in not allotting the stocks to the petitioners to distribute the same to cardholders allotted to the fair price shop Nos.58, 77 and 46 of Kurnool town and district. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. 4. Today when the writ petition came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader has produced a copy of letter addressed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kurnool vide Rc.DT(LR)812/2021, dated 16.09.2025 duly enclosing a copy of the proceedings of the Collector (CS), Kurnool dated 13.06.2019 through which the authorization of the petitioners’ fair price shops was cancelled. 4 5. In view of the fact that the petitioners’ authorization of the fair price shop Nos.58,77 and 46 of Kurnool town, Kurnool District has been cancelled by the respondent authorities vide proceedings dated 13.06.2019, this Court is of the opinion that the cause in the writ petition would not survive for further adjudication. 6. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
