JUSTICE SHIVASHANKAR AMARANNAVAR ORAL ORDER This petition is filed by accused No.6 under Section 483 of BNSS praying to grant bail in Crime No.281/2025 of Nelamangala Rural Police Station registered for the offence punishable under Sections 109(1), 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 352, 190 of BNS. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. SPP for respondent / State. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner would contend that Accused Nos.2 to 5, 7 and 8 who are similarly placed to that of this petitioner have been granted bail by this Court. He further submits that there is no serious overt act alleged against this petitioner. The serious overt acts is alleged against accused No.1 assaulting the injured. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:48218 CRL.P No. 14221 of 2025 Petitioner is ready to co-operate with police in investigation. With this he prayed to allow the petition. 4. Per contra, learned Addl.SPP would contend that investigation is in progress. The petitioner is having criminal antecedents and involved in two cases. If the petitioner is granted bail, he may hamper the investigation and tamper the prosecution witnesses and commit similar offence. With this she prayed to reject the petition. 5. Having heard the learned counsels, the Court has perused FIR, complaint and other materials placed on record. 6. A perusal of the complaint filed by one Girish indicates that accused No.1 assaulted the complainant with a knife on his chest and back and also assaulted two other persons who came with him. There is no serious overt acts alleged against the petitioner/accused No.6. Accused Nos.2 to 5, 7 and 8 who are similarly placed to that of this petitioner have been granted bail by this Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:48218 CRL.P No. 14221 of 2025 7. Considering the above aspects, the petitioner has made out a case for grant of bail with conditions. In the result, the following: ORDER Petition is allowed. The petitioner is granted bail in Crime No.281/2025 of Nelamangala Rural Police Station, subject to following conditions: (i) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with one surety for the like sum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court. (ii) Petitioner shall co-operate with police in investigation.
