By this application, the applicant has sought for condonation of delay of 461 days, which according to the registry is 426 days, in preferring the accompanying Criminal appeal against the Judgment and the Order of Sentence passed by the Special Judge (POCSO), Nongpoh in Special (POCSO) Case No. 6 of 2017. 2025:MLHC:379 The reason for delay has been explained in paragraph 4 to paragraph 9 of the application. The learned GA appearing for the State has no objection to the prayer for condonation made in the application. The reasons stated by the applicant in this application is found sufficient to condone the delay. Accordingly, the delay of 426 days in preferring the connected criminal appeal is condoned. Registry to diarize the appeal and list it for admission. This application stands allowed.
