JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) This Civil Contempt case is filed alleging non-compliance of direction issued by the learned Single Judge to the Tahsildar to take immediate steps to process the application filed by the complainant in Form No.1A as provided under sub-Rule (8) of Rule 8 of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969 and the process the same in accordance with law. 2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the accused that the application has been filed by the complainant on 03.08.2020 and that an endorsement had been issued by the Deputy Commissioner dated 14.01.2022. 3. It is submitted that thereafter, a further application has been filed by the complainant without disclosing the fact that his application stood rejected earlier, the writ petition was filed and Judgement dated 14.07.2022 was obtained directing the consideration of the application. It is submitted that on the basis of the further application filed by the complainant, land - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31489-DB CCC No. 791 of 2023 had been granted by the District Commissioner by order dated 12.08.2025 and that further steps for allotment of site to the complainant as per Annexure-R4 Circular dated 13.12.2022 are being processed. 4. Having considered the contentions advanced and accepting the affidavit filed on behalf of the accused, the Contempt of Courts case is closed.
