Learned Counsel Mr. M.Barman is present for the petitioner, Ranjan Gogoi who has filed this application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 with a prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Joypur PS Case No. 03/2025, under Sections 351(3)/61 (2) (a)/64(1) of the BNS. Page No.# 2/2 2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that victim has levelled false allegation against him. His wife is pregnant and if he is put behind bars, his family will face immense hardship at this stage when his wife is expecting a baby. 3. Mr. B.Sharma, learned Addl.Public Prosecutor is present for the respondent State and has seriously objected the prayer for bail as there are incriminating materials against the petitioner in the case diary. 4. I have considered the submissions at the Bar with circumspection. 5. I have also scrutinized the case diary. 6. The merits of the case are not brought to the fore.
