This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Up- Ziladhikari/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Duddhi, Sonbhadra (respondent no.3) to decide the case/application dated 24.06.2024 filed under Section 67 (A) of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 by the petitioner within reasonable time, which is still pending before the court of respondent no.3." 2. The petitioner claims that he has moved an application under Section 67-A of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 for settling the land as Abadi site, which is pending consideration before respondent no.3 since 2019. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.3 to decide the application dated 24.06.2024 under Section 67-A of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
