The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 121/2024 arising out of Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 451/2024(N), for the offence registered under Section 132 of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 21(b) and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-X, Ranchi. 3. On 28.08.2024 at about 5:30 P.M., Sukhdeonagar police raided the house of co-accused Kameshwar Ray and seized 3.06 Kgs. of cannabis and 8.5 grams of brown sugar from there. The petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons were apprehended at the spot. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contrabands come within the purview of intermediary quantity. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. He is accused in as many as two cases of similar nature. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
