JUSTICE BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY ORDER 08.12.2025 Order No.01 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. 2. Heard Mr. A. Patnaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. L.K. Maharana, learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties. 3. Petitioner has filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:- “In view of above facts and circumstances, this Court may be pleased to admit the writ NISI calling upon the Opp. Hon'ble petition, issue rule parties to show cause as to why; i) The Opp. Party no. 1 & 2 shall not be directed to grant notional promotion to the petitioner, by two ranks, and promote to the post of Manager in the Opp. Party No.1 corporation and further direct the Opposite Party No. 1 & 2 to confer those consequential, financial and other benefits on the petitioner within a stipulated time frame in terms with the two notional promotions; And further be pleased to pass any other order/orders as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper. And for which act of your kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.” Page 2 of 2. 4. However, taking into account the claim raised in the present Writ Petition, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to make a fresh representation before Opp. Party No. 2 by enclosing all the relevant documents and citations in support of his claim, if any, within a period of three (3) weeks hence. 5. It is observed that if such representation is filed within the aforesaid time period, Opp. Party No. 2 shall do well to take a lawful decision on the same within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of such representation.
