The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to quash the order passed by DM Haridwar (respondent no-1) dated 9/6/25 (Annexure no-4) on making, distributing and doing business of non-vegetarian food in hotels during the annual Urs / Fair (starting from 11 June 2025 (05 days) till 15 June 2025) to be held at Hazrat Shah Mohammad Shah Rah. / Hazrat Shah Shaheed alias Katha Peer located at Pathri Jungle Tehsil and District Haridwar waqf Sr.No.614. (II) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation moved by applicant (Annexure no-3) with this petition. (III) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. (IV) Award cost of the petition.” 2.
