The petitioner through the medium of present petition is seeking a direction upon the respondents to consider and decide the representations dated 06.08.2024 and 02.01.2025 which he has submitted through his father Nazir Ahmad Chalkoo in connection with appointment of the petitioner against one of the two vacant slots bearing Serial No. 60 in the selection list issued vide Notification No. DCB/LA/NHPC URI-II/Employment/2015 dated 11.08.2015. 2. It has been submitted that due to the pendency of the litigation, the selection process in favour of the land losers/their dependents could not be taken to its logical conclusion and it is only on P a g e | 2 WP(C) No. 1408/2025 CM No. 3675/2025 05.06.2024, that this Court finally decided the issue and the respondents were given liberty to finalize the selection list and issue order of appointment in favour of the candidates shortlisted for the purpose. 3. The petitioner submits that he had made a representation before respondent No. 1/Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, however, the said representation is not being decided. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would feel satisfied if an appropriate direction is issued to respondent No.1/Deputy commissioner Baramulla to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a specified time. 4. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 1/Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to accord consideration to the representations submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law most expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is made available to the said respondent. 5.
