JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. The learned AGA accepts notice for respondents. In view of the proposed order to be passed, notice to Respondent Nos.5 & 6 is dispensed with. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) A writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondent No.1 to 4 to consider the representations dated 18.04.2022 and 21.04.2022 in No.Nil vide Annexures-G, D, E and F submitted by the petitioner to respondents 1 to 4; b) A writ in the nature of mandamus or any other direction directing the respondent No.3 and 4 to disqualify the respondent No.5 from the directorship of the respondent No.6 society; c) Pass such other writ or order or direction as deems fit under the circumstances of the case including an order for costs in the interest of justice and equity. 3. By way of the aforesaid representations, the petitioner had sought for cancellation of the caste and income certificate issued by Respondent No.2 in favour of Respondent No.5. If that be so, a mandamus cannot be issued to consider the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25637 WP No. 19819 of 2024 representation. The petitioner has adequate and alternate remedy by filing necessary proceedings under the Karnataka Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Reservation of Appointments etc.,) Act, 1990.
