This application is filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Kokrajhar Page No.# 2/2 Police Station Case No.275/2024 under Section 308(5)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. The National Power Thermal Corporation have lodged an FIR before the Police alleging that whenever trucks carrying goods entered into their complex, some people demand money from the trucks. The case diary reveals that the petitioner was involved in demanding or collecting money from the truck driver. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides. The provision of law as laid down in Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 is not meant to be used for these type of people. They have been creating nuisance in the entire society. Therefore, the present anticipatory bail application is found to be devoid of any merit and accordingly, the same stands dismissed. Return the case diary. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
