Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to hear and decide the statutory departmental revision dated 31.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) along with application seeking stay (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioner against the order dated 14.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No.3-Appellate Authority and the order dated 12.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No.4-Punishing Authority in a time bound manner, as stipulated under the Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Employees (Common Cadre) VISHNU 2025.08.11 17:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the revision petition filed by the petitioner and application seeking stay (Annexures P-4 & P-5) by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner. He further prays that till final disposal of the aforesaid revision petition, recovery from the salary of the petitioner may be stayed.

4. Mr. Vinod Kumar Polist, Advocate appears on behalf of the respondents and files Power of Attorneys in the Court today, which are taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at the appropriate place of the case file. He has no objection, in case a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to hear and decide the revision petition and the application for stay (Annexures P-4 & P-5) in a time bound manner.
5. In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, without commenting upon merits of the case, present petition is
disposed of and respondent No.2 is directed to hear and decide the revision petition and the application for stay (Annexures P-4 & P-5) in a time bound manner and pass a speaking order, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

7. Needless to say, if the petitioner is found entitled to the relief sought, the same be granted to him forthwith by respondent No.2.
