Also heard Mr. M P Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. The applicants were convicted on 18.01.2025. They were sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one month by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jorhat in Sessions Case No. 185/2015 and to pay ₹500/- each. They are already on bail. 3. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel of both sides. 4. It is hereby directed that the sentence dated 18.01.2025 imposed upon the applicants by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jorhat in Sessions Case No. 185/2015 shall remain stayed till disposal of the connected appeal. 5. Both the applicants, 1. Sri Adhish Karmakar & 2. Sri Kambhu Karmakar, who were convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jorhat in Sessions Case No. 185/2015, are Page No.# 3/3 allowed to remain on previous bail.
