Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kathikund P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 309(6) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of Sri Walter Bhengra, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dumka. On 09.09.2024 at about 8:15 P.M., the informant was waylaid by three unknown persons near Alubera. The accused persons looted away his motorcycle and other valuables. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for about six months. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that looted motorcycle was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. Petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after six months.
