The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to issue him appointment letter.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab submits that selection process was concluded in 2016. The petitioner disclosed his marks of 10+2 as 73.1% whereas he had actually secured 60.9% marks. He was awarded 14 marks for 10+2 whereas he was entitled to 13 marks. The revision of marks took place on verification of documents. He was initially selected, however, on account of reduction of marks was not considered because he was younger in age than last selected candidate though he had secured marks equal to last selected candidate.

There was no representation of the petitioner on 24.07.2023 as well 11.05.2022 and even today, no one has caused appearance on PRINCE CHAWLA 2025.07.30 18:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
