The present criminal revision petition has been filed challenging the impugned judgment and order dated 18.05.2023 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar whereby the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. (the criminal procedure then was) filed by revisionist was partly allowed and a maintenance amount of ₹20,000/- per month was awarded in favour of the revisionist/minor daughter of the respondent no.2. The revisionist seeks enhancement of the said maintenance. 5. Learned counsel for the parties have submitted that in compliance with the directions of this Court dated 24.03.2025 both parties appeared before the Mediator appointed by the Member Secretary, Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority for mediation proceedings held on different dates. He would further submit that the mediation proceedings were successful and the parties have amicably resolved their dispute on mutually agreed terms and conditions as recorded in the settlement/agreement dated 05.05.2025, in Mediation Case No. 21 of 2025 titled Riya vs. State of Uttarakhand & another, before the Mediation Centre, Nainital. 6. In view of the amicable settlement and considering that both parties have agreed to abide by the terms of the compromise, this Court is of the considered view that no useful purpose 2025:UHC:4239 would be served by keeping the present revision pending. 7. Accordingly, the criminal revision petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement/agreement dated 05.05.2025 which shall form part of this order. 8.
