By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to forthwith bring at par the pay band and grade pay of the petitioner who is working as accountant in Treasury with Review Officer (Accounts) who are working in U.P. Secretariat to be 4600 w.e.f., 01.01.2006 and 4800 w.e.f., 22.12.2011 and if need so arises, by way of reasoned speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2025 within stipulated period of time which may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court in extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India." Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned for consideration of his claim by means of representation dated 7th June, 2025, which has remained pending till date. Learned Standing counsel has no objection in case if petitioner's representation is directed to be decided by the concerned competent respondent in a time bound period and in accordance with law. In view of the above this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent to look into and consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in his representation dated 7th June, 2025 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Needless to add, the order to be passed by the respondent concerned as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
