1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment after the death of her mother, who was working as Rural Health Organizer under the respondent No.5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the application of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment has been filed by the petitioner on 31/05/2021, but the respondents authority has not considered the application submitted by the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has submitted representations to the C.M.H.O. on various occasions, but till date, no decision has been taken. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and take necessary decision within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions, submits that the application filed by the petitioner is under consideration by the respondents/State and necessary order will be passed in accordance with law within a period of forty days.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and documents.
5. Looking to the submission made by learned counsel for the State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent
3 / 3 Nos.3 & 4 to take appropriate decision in accordance with law on the application submitted by the petitioner within a period of forty days.
