The learned counsel for the petitioners places reliance upon an order dated 15.07.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24118 of 2025 and would submit that the issue is now well settled and it has been made clear in the aforesaid decision that the CAO under G.O.Ms No.62 dated 09.08.2024 is empowered to file vakalat on behalf of the petitioners and is also empowered to file counter. 3. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent also agrees with the submission made by the learned counsel counsel for the petitioners. 4. In view of the settled position, this civil revision petition has to be allowed, by setting aside the impugned order dated 05.06.2025, passed by the Tamil Nadu Wakf Tribunal, Chennai in O.A.No.13 of 2025 and by directing the Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal, Chennai to receive the vakalat and the counter filed by the petitioners and signed by the CAO and consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, while finally deciding O.A.No. 13 of 2025, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 3453 of 2025 __________ Page4 of 5 5. Accordingly this civil revision petition is allowed by setting aside the impugned order dated 05.06.2025 passed by the Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal, Chennai in O.A.No.13 of 2025 and by directing the Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal to receive the vakalat and the counter filed by the petitioners and signed by the CAO, if the same is filed within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same. The Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, while finally deciding the O.A.No.13 of 2025.
