Mr. Jasjit Singh Rattu, DAG Punjab SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of Summoning order dated 09.05.2022, passed by The Judicial Magistrate First Class, Nangal, District Rupnagar, Punjab Qua the petitioner. Wherein Ld. Court has summoned petitioner along with other co- accused to face trial under Sections 323,506,149 of IPC.. (Annexure P-2) in the criminal complaint filed by the respondent no.2 C.O.M.I 51/2019 titled as Jagroop Singh Vs. Gurmail Singh and others (Annexure P-1)and all subsequent proceedings arising there from in view of the compromise dated 04-08-2023 (Annexure P-3) to prevent an abuse of the process of the court and in the interest of justice. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Perusal of the case file reveals that the petition was earlier dismissed for non-prosecution and subsequently restored by order dated 20.12.2024. However, since the restoration, there has been no representation on behalf of the MEENU 2025.07.11 09:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the foregoing, this Court is firmly of the opinion that the petitioner does not intend to pursue the instant petition any further. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
