Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is for quashing of order dated 08.01.2025, passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hoshiapur in case arising out of FIR No. 121 dated 17.07.2019, registered under Section 420 of IPC at Police Station City Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur, whereby attachment of the property of the petitioner has been ordered for giving surety of accused Suman Bala for Rs. 1 Lakh against the facts of the case. 2. After addressing arguments at length, learned counsel for the petitioner could not point out any illegality or infirmity in the impugned order. Therefore, he has alternatively submitted that since the petitioner could not appear before the Court concerned due to his illness and is ready to deposit the reasonable surety amount before the Court, the impugned order may be stayed only till 29.07.2025, which is the date fixed for awaiting the report of the attachment of property of the petitioner.
