The petitioner is wife of the respondent. The respondent filed HMOP No.274 of 2024 on the file of Sub Court Alandur seeking divorce and the petitioner filed HMOP No.274 of 2024 on the file of Principal Sub Court, Kancheepuram seeking restitution of conjugal rights. 4. The petitioner has expressed inconvenience in attending the proceedings before the Sub Court, Alandur, being a permanent resident of Kelampettai, Poosivakkam Village, Kancheepuram district. Though the counsel for the respondent states that the proceedings filed by the petitioner/wife can be transferred and be tried along with the proceedings filed by the respondent, considering the difficulties expressed by the petitioner/wife in travelling all the way to attend the proceedings filed by the respondent, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. 5. Accordingly, the proceedings in HMOP No.274 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of Sub Court, Alandur and the same is transferred to the file Principal Sub Court, Kancheepuram to be tried jointly along with HMOP No.274 of 2024. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 1030 of 2025 6.
