WP(C) No.29005 of 2023 2 2025:KER:26750 GP.SRI.B.S.SYAMANTHAK THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING BEEN FINALLY HEARD ON 26.03.2025, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
WP(C) No.29005 of 2023 3 2025:KER:26750
JUDGMENT Dated this the 26th day of March, 2025
The writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to afford adequate police protection to the life and property of the petitioner and his family members from the threats of the respondents 4 and 5 and their men.
2. When the writ petition came up for
consideration on 25.08.2023, this Court had directed the 3rd respondent to ensure that the law and order is maintained in the petitioner’s locality, without interfering in any civil dispute between the petitioner and the party respondents.
3. Heard; the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
4. The learned Government Pleader submits that, a notice has been issued to the petitioner's mother to vacate from the Puramboke property. There is another writ petition pending in this regard.
WP(C) No.29005 of 2023 4 2025:KER:26750 On a consideration of the facts and the materials on record, I am of the view that a quietus can be given to the writ petition, by permitting the petitioner to approach the 3rd respondent, in case if there is any law and order problem in the petitioner's locality. If such complaint is filed, the 3rd respondent shall ensure that the law and
order is maintained in the petitioner's locality, without interfering in any civil dispute between the petitioner and the party respondents. The writ petition is ordered accordingly.
