By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondent/M.S.R.T.C. to issue appointment in the name of petitioner for the post of Assistant (Jr.), pursuant to the advertisement dated 05.09.2012. 2. Heard learned advocate for the petitioner and learned advocate for M.S.R.T.C. Perused the documents on record. 3. The petitioner has passed in the written examination by obtaining 57 marks out of 100. Thereafter, in the interview also it seems that he has succeeded, however, no appointment order is issued to him. The reply given to the petitioner under Right to Information Act, 2005 dated 21.05.2014 shows that the select list of Assistant (Jr.) was published by MKCL on internet on the webside of MSRTC. Obviously, name of petitioner was not there in the said select list. 5. Reply filed by M.S.R.T.C. shows that the Class-IV posts of Assistant (Jr.) were reserved for the categories i.e. Women (30%), Ex-Servicemen (15%), Part-time [अंशकालीन] (10%), Project Affected (5%), Earthquake Affected (2%) and Sports (5%). 6. Since the petitioner did not belong to any of these categories, he was not selected. 7. In this view of the matter, we find no merit in the writ petition. 8. Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed.
