Despite service of notice and printing the name of the respondent in the cause list, the respondent has not chosen to appear in person or through counsel to contest this petition. 3. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also gone through the affidavit filed in support of the petition and the relevant documents filed in the typed set of papers. 4. The petitioner is the wife, who is facing divorce proceedings initiated by the respondent/husband in HMOP No.136 of 2025 on the file of Family Court, Villupuram. In fact, apart from the difficulties expressed by the petitioner in her affidavit, especially, the factum of having to take care of her 6 months old baby, the learned counsel for the petitioner also brings to my notice that, pending this transfer petition, the petitioner herself has also filed OP No.105 of 2026 before the Family Cuddalore District Court seeking restitution of conjugal rights and necessarily HMOP No.136 of 2025 pending on the file of __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 1404 of 2025 Family Court Villupuram and O.P.No.105 of 2026 pending on the file of Family Court, Cuddalore have to be tried jointly. 5. 5. In the light of the above, this transfer petition is ordered and the HMOP No.136 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court, Villupuram and the same is transferred to the file of Family Court, Cuddalore to be jointly tried along with OP No.105 of 2026. 6. The Family Court, Villupuram is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.136 of 2025 to the file of the Family Court, Cuddalore forthwith. There shall be no order as to costs.
