1. This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in case FIR No.279 dated 28.05.2025 under Sections 115(2), 190, 191(3), 308(2), 304, 351(2) of the BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Krishna Gate, Kurukshetra.

The case of the prosecution is that six persons including Cheenu Tal Wala and Gagan Thapa along with three other persons, one of whom is identified as the present petitioner came in a drunk condition and started demanding monthly money from the complainant, who was running a cycle stand, and upon the refusal by the complainant, all the accused attacked him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petitioner has played no role in the alleged crime, as he has not been named in the FIR. He further submits that no specific role or injuries were attributed to the petitioner.

CRM-M-36063-2025 commission of the crime. She further submits that the incident was recorded in the CCTV footage, which shows the petitioner holding a bottle of liquor and as per the complainant version, an empty bottle of beer was struck on his forehead.
6. I have heard the submissions made by the parties and gone through the record.

Keeping in view the facts of the case, the conduct of the present petitioner and the gravity of offence that he inflicted injuries to the complainant in order to extort money, no ground is made out for concession of anticipatory bail.
