Respondent(s) For Petitioner : Ms. Priyanka Rai, Advocate holding the brief of Mr. Abhishek Thakur, Advocate For State : Mr. Vedant Shadangi, Panel Lawyer Hon'ble Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey Order on Board 08.08.2025 1) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- Digitally signed by NADIM MOHLE -2- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of petitioner form the respondent department for kind perusal of the case. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate order of promotion with respect to the petitioner from the date on which the similarly situated persons have been promoted by the order dated 29-01-2022 along with all consequential benefits. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the respondent authority, particularly the respondent No.3 to consider the seniority from initial date of appointment/joining on the post of Teacher/Shiksha Karmi Grade-II of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Headmaster. 10.4 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem-fit and appropriate.” 2) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that services of the petitioenr were transferred from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Gandai to Nagar Panchayat Dhamdha vide order dated 15.07.2020. She would further submi that services of the petitioner were absorbed into the School Education Department vide order dated 30.06.2018 w.e.f. 01.07.2018 after completion of 8 years. It is submitted that the petitioner has completed eight years of service, but her claim for promotion has not been considered till date. 3) Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner had made a representation on 03.02.2022 before respondent No. 3 seeking consideration for promotion to the post of Headmaster, but no decision has been taken till date. It is prayed that respondent authorities may be directed to consider and decide the said -3- representation. 4) On the other hand, learned State counsel opposes the submission made by counsel for the petitioner. 5) Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the petitioner without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to authorities concerned to consider and decide the petitioner’s representation dated 03.02.2022, in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of 150 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6) With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the writ petition stands disposed of.
