Challenge in this writ petition is against the order No. MS/V-19/Part- 1/2017-2024/798-802 dated 20th May, 2024 passed by the respondent No.5. It is submitted by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner that the aforesaid order dated 20-05-2024 was passed by the respondent No.5 on the basis of the order dated 02-05-2024 vide letter No.DC.XXVII/Genl/173/2023-2024/36/289 of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, which has been set aside by this Court by order passed today in WP(C) No. 149 of 2024. He, therefore, submits that the order dated 20-05-2024 may also be set aside. The submission made by the learned Senior Counsel is not disputed by the learned Counsels appearing for the respondents. Since, the order dated 02-05-2024 vide letter No.DC.XXVII/Genl/173/2023-2024/36/289 of the Khasi Hills Autonomous 2025:MLHC:464 District Council has been set aside and quashed, the impugned order passed by the respondent No.5 vide order No. MS/V-19/Part-1/2017-2024/798-802 dated 20th May, 2024 also stands set aside and quashed.
