Sr. No.82 Regular. IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR CCP(S) 223/2024 in[WP(C) 2892/2022] CM(118/2025) IRSHAD HUSSAIN …Petitioner(s)/appellant(s) Through: Mr. Saleem Mir, Advocate. Vs. PRASANAA RAMASWAMY G. AND ORS. ...Respondent(s) Through: Mr. H. Aman Ali, Dy. AG. CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE O R D E R 12.03.2025 In the instant contempt petition, the petitioner has alleged non- compliance of Order dated 19.12.2022, in terms whereof, while disposing of the writ petition of the petitioner being WP(C) No. 2892/2022, the petitioner came to be provided a liberty to file a representation before the respondents, whereupon the respondents had to consider the same in accordance with law governing the field. Statement of facts has been filed by the respondents, wherein, it is being stated that in compliance to the Order passed by this Court, the representation submitted by the petitioner came to be considered and a speaking order dated 16.12.2024 passed and the claim of the petitioner was found devoid of any merit, and, consequently rejected. In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondents-contemnors in the statement of facts, seemingly the respondents have complied with the order passed by this Court, necessitating closure of the contempt proceedings. Ordered accordingly. The petitioner, however, shall be at liberty to work out a remedy against the rejection order if so advised. (JAVED IQBAL WANI) JUDGE SRINAGAR 12.03.2025 Hilal Ahmad
